Travel story-
I have been living in Delhi
for the past 23 years and still there are places I have never been to, living
in the capital of a country which has a rich history and culture that attracts
thousands of tourists from all over the world every year, I decided to go on a Delhi
tour and explore the depths of the city myself and get to know the place of my
birth a little better. I had been to a few places in past but never really got a chance to stop and stare into the
beautiful architectures and views, so I started out from the heart of Delhi and
took a walk on the grandiose pathway laid in front of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
The view from Rajpath was breathtaking, it was surreal because I had passed
through the same place many times but looking at it standing in the middle of
the enthralling boulevard was something else. The lush green lawns and parks,
the hustle of Delhiites, the wide roads and history that is attached to this
place makes It even more interesting, thinking that it is the same place where
the prime minister hoist our national flag every year gave me goose bumps. From
the very beginning since I remember I had seen all the republic day parades
with my Dad but never saw it in person so I made a promise with myself to visit
here once again at the time of parade.
